Care Instructions:

To preserve the shine of the golden kasavu border and protect the detailed artwork, please follow these care steps:

• First Wash: Dry clean recommended for the first wash to lock in the colours and fabric texture.
• Subsequent Washes: Gently hand wash in cold water using a mild liquid detergent. Do not wring or twist the fabric forcefully.
• Washing Machine Warning: Avoid machine washing or harsh scrubbing, as it can damage the printed motif and fray the zari work.
• Drying: Line dry in the shade. Keep it away from direct sunlight to prevent the off-white cotton from yellowing and the motif from fading.
• Ironing: Iron on the reverse side of the printed motif using a medium-to-low heat setting. Use a thin cotton cloth layer over the kasavu border while ironing to protect its metallic sheen.
