Description:

Embrace timeless tradition with our premium men's Kerala cotton mundu (dhoti), designed to add a touch of heritage sophistication to your festive wardrobe. Crafted from breathable, high-quality off-white cotton, this lightweight mundu ensures all-day comfort during celebrations, weddings, and formal occasions.

It features a classic golden kasavu zari border paired with an elegant, hand-painted style contrast border. The detailed geometric diamond patterns and rich maroon temple motifs running alongside the shimmering zari create a perfect blend of traditional artistry and modern elegance. Pair it with a classic linen shirt or a traditional kurta to complete your celebratory look.

Product Highlights:

  • Fabric: 100% Premium Cotton for maximum comfort and breathability.
  • Colour: Classic off-white/cream base.
  • Border: Shimmering golden kasavu (zari) accompanied by an intricate black, maroon, and white geometric temple pattern.
  • Occasion: Perfect for festivals (Onam, Vishu), weddings, religious ceremonies, and cultural events.

Care Instructions:

To maintain the pristine texture of the cotton, protect the delicate hand-painted motifs, and keep the golden zari shining brightly, please follow these care steps:

  • First Wash: Hand wash separately in cold water mixed with a pinch of salt to lock in the colours.
  • Subsequent Washes: Gentle hand wash in cold water using a mild, colour-safe detergent. Do not wring or twist the fabric harshly.
  • Drying: Line dry in the shade. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent the hand-painted borders from fading and the off-white cotton from yellowing.
  • Ironing: Iron on the reverse side of the painted border using a medium-low heat setting. Use a thin cotton press cloth over the golden kasavu border while ironing to protect the zari.
  • Storage: Store folded in a cool, dry place. Avoid hanging for extended periods to maintain the structure of the weave.
